The Beeches (team pictured) is a small family run, privately owned company, caring for adults of all ages in the comfort of their own homes. Shopping for these adults or accompanying them on excursions are a few of the tasks that carers at The Beeches undertake. However, managing financial transactions had become increasingly challenging with a mixture of payment methods being used, none of which were entirely suitable. It often caused unnecessary stress for carers and created difficulties for family members trying to maintain oversight.

The Beeches‘ experience with Cleva

Now working with Cleva, The Beeches were able to simplify client financial management. Stress, confusion and lack of oversight is in the past.

Now, when paying, his carer simply opens up the Cleva app, selects Andy*’s Digital Wallet and can pay using their Cleva card. The transaction is automatically linked to Andy’s Digital Wallet and his carer can also upload the receipt for further transparency. The transaction and receipt can be viewed by our team, Andy*, and Andy*’s family – which provides visibility for everyone involved. Cleva is simple to use, secure and transparent. It also saves a significant amount of administration time as everything is done digitally.

Each carer who looks after Andy* has their own Cleva card, which can spend from a pre-allocated balance provided by Andy*. Rather than Andy* struggling to remember his PIN, the carer can assist when paying and can also complete other tasks on behalf of Andy*, such as shopping, all via the Cleva card.

How family members of The Beeches’ clients see Cleva

Cleva goes beyond the client and carer relationship, it gives organisations the power to actively involve family members in financial oversight.

“Dad is keen to maintain his independence and live in his own house. None of this would be possible without the care and support which he gets from The Beeches. Since The Beeches have been using Cleva to do Dad’s shopping, I now have complete peace of mind.
